Terms of use

Using our service you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. WebHits provides a graphical access counter for internet pages and a statistical analysis of these accesses. This paid service is based on the current price list.
  2. Any Web site offending (totally or partly) against valid right may be excluded from using the service. Same applies for the use on sites which are being advertised by spamming (unsolicited eMails).
  3. WebHits tries to ensure full functionality of the service. Down-times or system-dependent errors may however happen.
  4. In no case WebHits can be held responsible for direct or indirect damages or losses which could develop in connection with using or not using this service.
  5. Customer has the sole legal responsibility for contents published in his/her WebHits Guest book.
  6. Only one page of your Web site may be listed in our Top 10 charts. A counter may not be incremented by implementation into a third party's site. If you want your site to be listed in the charts you agree to have a back link to WebHits in exchange. Please see the FAQ for further information about linking to us.
  7. Note in case of adult contents: Even if only a part of a site contains adult material, the whole site has to be classified as "has adult contents". If this material is accessible to minors you are not allowed to use our service. WebHits is in no case responsible for a customer site's adherence to legal regulations.
  8. A counter may only be used on normal HTML pages (no pages with automatic refresh, no server scripts, JavaScript boxes, Guest books, fora, auction pages, newsgroups etc.) of your own Web site (and its sub pages). Any page of your site may only hold one WebHits counter.
  9. WebHits reserves the right to exclude a site from being listed in our charts, to refuse serving the free Guest book or to cancel a subscription due to offenses against our terms and conditions.
  10. Prices may be adjusted at the end of a prepaid subscription. No refunds will be made if customer decides to stop using our service during a prepaid period.
